ABC has reportedly ordered a new pilot from Independence Day and 2012 director Roland Emmerich. The show, a fantasy drama, will apparently take place "in New York against the backdrop of the 2012 presidential race, when a young astrophysics student learns his destiny lies not in the field of science, but somewhere between heaven and hell."
Emmerich co-wrote the pilot with his 2012 cohort Harald Kloser and will also direct. The ...
