Adam Yauch Of The Beastie Boys Dead At Age 47

Adam "MCA" Yauch of the Beastie Boys has died at the age of 47. As of yet the cause of death is unknown, but he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his salivary gland in 2009 for which he underwent radiation and surgeries. At that time he had said it was "very treatable" but the group had to cancel performances and delay the release of their 2011 album, Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2.
