For all you "Weeds" fans who also happen to be big Albert Brooks fans, I have great news for you. Mr. Brooks will be making a guest appearance on upcoming episodes of "Weeds". He will be playing the role of Lenny Botwin, Nancy's father-in-law. CNN has a full story and quotes Mr. Brooks talking about the characther he plays: "He's not the part I normally play," he says. "He's a gambler, a guy who never made anything of his life and hates his son. He's a fusty curmudgeon. If you isolated the part and said, 'Is this going to be a movie, or on Showtime?' it doesn't matter because the part is great.
For those who are not fnas of Mr. Brooks, let me remind you of a few notable work he's created or been part of in past few years... several voices for "The Simpsons," and "Finding Nemo." He also made the movie "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World".
