Doing her part to improve the overall quality of life, Alicia Silverstone was spotted promoting her new book "The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet" last night (October 8) in New York City.

The "Clueless" actress looked lovely as she hammed it up for the paparazzi at the Candle 79 restaurant on the Upper East Side, sporting a black blazer/dress combo.
