Are Samantha Who?'s Todd and Sam the New MerDer?

Are Todd (Barry Watson) and samantha (Christina Applegate) the next great TV will-they-or-won't-they couple? Christina herself seems to think so, and we couldn't agree more. When samantha Who? returns to ABC this Thursday, March 26, their relationship will be the comedy's leading storyline. (Yay!)
When asked if this popular TV couple/noncouple will finally get it together, Christina tells us: "I don't know. I think every show has a great Sam and Diane* dynamic. [Note to those of you born after 1990: Sam and Diane is a Cheers reference.] You've got the Meredith and the Dr. McHottie or whatever. People who just can't seem to get it together, and it seems to work."
It makes no diff to Ms. Applegate. She's just over the moon to be working with Barry. "As long as I get to continue to do lots of scenes with Barry Watson," she says, "then I don't care what capacity it is, whether we're fighting or we're in love. He's my really good friend, and I absolutely enjoy working with him."

We want to see Todd and Sam get it together as much as the next guy, but would it end the show?
I don't think [it would] because I think they would fight like brother and sister still. I think there's always going to be that dynamic with them-where they love each other and they can't stand each other at the same time. I think she annoys him to death, and he annoys her to death, and yet they're in love with that part of each other as well. They live together now, so it's almost like being together, except he sleeps on the couch. I don't think it would be over.
Todd and Sam have a long way to go before they can be together, especially since Winston (Billy Zane) is on his way to attempt to sweep Sam off her feet. So how long will the new Winston stick around? [News flash from the editor: Billy Zane, the new Winston, replaces the old Winston, Timothy Olyphant, who moved onto Damages. Welcome, Billy!]
We have three episodes here, and I think next season there are two more, maybe even more than that. Hopefully we'll get him back for more. He's relentless with Sam, he wants her, and he's going to do everything he can to get her, even if it's completely evil. She catches onto him that he's been doing all of this. Plus, you get to see that relationship in flashback. It's really fun to see the dynamic between the two of them actually as a couple.

Angie plays Billy Zane's ex-wife for our episode, and we get to find out a little bit about that.
What is uncovered about the accident that caused Sam's amnesia?
We knew there was a fight between her and Todd, and she went and cut off all her hair-because he liked her long hair, so she cut it all off. We know that's what led up to that moment. We knew she was in a lot of distress. We're going to find out [in the finale] what exactly happened.
What's in store for Andrea (Jennifer Esposito) and Dena (Melissa McCarthy)?
There's a lot of stuff with them and not me, which I think is so great because they're really funny together. As friends they're such an odd couple, but it works for some strange reason. They found themselves in this relationship because of samantha, and they actually hang out without her now-but they don't like each other. It's really bizarre.
