Ashlee Simpson Tries to Defend Jessica, Fails (3)

Ashlee Simpson is apparently upset by the headlines her now-fat sister Jessica has caused. So what does the new Mom do? Write on her blog and vent out her frustrations, of course. As always is the case when most Celebrities try to write, her reasoning and defense of Jessica, while sweet and good natured also came out sounding whiny and like it was written by a second grader who is not too smart. I guess Ashlee isn't used to writing, apart from the cheesy lyrics she embeds in her songs, so it's no wonder that her blog entry is ridiculous to say the least. But, judge for yourself; here's an excerpt:
"All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you're a Celebrity, there shouldn't be a different standard.
How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?"
First of all, Celebrities should be judged by different standards because they're rich. They have the means to be healthy and look good, and yes, I'm going to judge someone who can afford $1,000 a bottle face creams differently. Also, Celebrities pay for nutritionists, personal trainers, and the latest pills and concoctions: if they don't look good, they are just wasting money, plain and simple.
Ashlee's second point is as asinine as her first: Jessica is not a size 2. I'd bet my money she's around a size 12 right now... maybe Ashlee forgot to type out the "1 digit. Also, Ashlee, you bring up the good point of wanting teenage girls to love themselves: shall we now bring up your plastic surgeries? I think we should. Ashlee has gotten so much plastic surgery which made her more beautiful, yes, and also unrecognizable. If she truly believd in what she was writing, she wouldn't have gotten those surgeries in the first place, especially considering the fact that she was already famous and successful.
What Ashlee really is teaching teenage girls is that success and fame are not enough: plastic surgery and a cookie-cutter face are a must if you want to consider yourself beautiful. Way to be ignorant and fail at life, Ashlee.
