Providing you the full scoop...
I saw Batman The Dark Knight yesterday and it's simply amazing. Heath Ledger "stole the show" with his brilliant performance and I am very confident he will win best actor this year when Oscars come around. Gary Oldman was also phenomenal -- as usual -- and the twist and plots of the movie leave you on the edge of your seat.
The movie breaks all former openning weekend events set by any other film. Reuters reports that, 'the film is almost certain to surpass the $100.1 million debut rung up in May by 'Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," which would make "Dark Knight" the biggest opening so far this year."
After seeing the movie this was the first time I became a Heath Ledger fan. I mean, the guy can act, but what he did with The Joker character is like nothing I've seen before in a film of this genre. It's truly sad he will not be starrin gin any future films due to his death earlier this year. After this film and performance Ledger is likely to have the same impact on our culture as James Dean did on our parents' generation.
