Bomb Threats In Aspen Ruin New Year's Eve

This is sad. Some crazy-ass douchebag ruined New Year's Eve for thousands of people in downtown Aspen.

A former resident of Aspen sent over some bomb threats Wednesday on one of the town's busiest night of year.

Suspicious packages along with threatening notes were found at two banks. Police said that a bank in downtown Aspen first found the package and note at around 2:30pm. Another nearby bank reported a similar issue a few minutes later.

The packages were wrapped in Christmas
