After last week's hard knock lessons for Michelle, I wouldn't blame her for cuddling up with a stuffed animal and enjoying a healthy dose of peanut butter. But, as they say,
The Show Must Go On!
Ginny and Mel are bemoaning their packed days outside the dance studio when Boo joins them with flowers for Fanny's welcome back present. Ginny and Mel kindly inform Boo that the particular bouquet will earn her no brownie points so she tosses them. What are friends for, if not to help you avoid the pot holes of niceties?
Michelle walks into the house to find the kitchen being utilized in a familiar fashion by an older gentleman in a bathrobe. Michael, bath-robed man, informs her that Fanny is back and invites her to breakfast. Go Fanny! Happy that it is not kinky breakfast day, Michelle politely declines and exits in true awkward fashion.
At the studio, the girls watch old videos of Ginger Rogers and Boo expresses her love of vintage style. Sasha comes in with her usual buzz kill attitude when the girls are summoned by Fanny's
Thrice taped cane. Sasha proceeds to fall into a dance with a good looking guy dancer (Jordan) and the two move about the studio while everyone else is warming up in true old movie fashion. Clearly this is a dance they have done before and are up to do again.
Fanny informs the girls its show season! First up? Grand opening of Paradise Gourmet Foods! Broadway, here they come! They got bumped from one venue because the venue hosts chose cheerleaders over them, she is not happy to say the least. Sasha removes her jacket and Fanny sees tan lines. Not good. She berates Sasha and does not look amused by her apology. Fanny gives Boo the Ginger Rogers dance that Sasha usually performs with Jordan; one of their big shows of the season. Sasha is not a happy camper. That'll teach you to go to the beach and have a life outside ballet!
Michelle welcomes Fanny back who is upset that her plants are practically dead. She tells Michelle that Mow, Blow, and Go (the gardeners) don't do flowers and Michelle comments that those might actually be their names. With this show's track records with names, that's probably true. She then proceeds to invite Michelle to a matinee in L.A. The show is "Blank Up, It's Time" and Michelle tries to figure out which dirty word is the one that is "blanked" out. Michelle reluctantly agrees to attend and wonders why Fanny didn't ask Michael. --- Start WP Socializer Plugin - Sharethis Button -->...
