Carrie Prejean says that she lost her Crown for Gay comments

Carrie Prejean stated that she lost her crown because of the comments she made about same-sex marriage. Carrie Prejean was dethroned from the title of Miss California USA 2009,on June 10, 2009, with the producers of the Miss California USA pageant citing continued breach of contract issues as the reason.

Carrie Prejean responded to this decision by revealing on The Today Show that she was fired for speaking against gay marriage.
