Christian Bale Questioned Over Abuse Allegations

I am very biased towards Christian Bale because I like the actor as an actor and as a person. The Sun is reporting that Mr. Bale was picked up by Scottland Yard for allegations he assulted his 61yr old mother and 40yr old sister.

The star of popular movie The Dark Knight was questioned on July 21st for more than four hours. According to The Sun, "Bale was arrested just hours after he attended the first European screening of the new Batman blockbuster," and quoted a source as saying, "It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don't yet know is founded in truth. "

If this allegation -- which is only an allegation -- is proved to be true it could wreck Bale's image and career who has become a 'hero' of sorts to many including this humble blogger. Let's hope this is a small family dispute that will end on a positive note.
