Dana Barron named her new baby girl Clancy - What's your opinion of the name?

I don't really like the name much. I don't really want to call Dana Barron a celeb because she's as far from that as I am but "celebs" seem to pick the worst names for their kids. If it's a boy they pick some cheesy whimp name a lot of times and if it's a girl they pick Apple or as in this case Clancy. Good name for her dog, not a good choice for her daughter I think.

Congratulations to Dana Barron on her new baby!!! I don't know if I like the name Clancy or not but it's cute that she named her after her childhood dog. That's very sweet.

I second the congrats. Wow Dana Barron has 5 kids that's crazy it shows you just never know. It's kinda funny I've been reading the blogs and her and all kinds of people are in there, someone even has Dana in a bar joke series of postings. She's pretty popular online these days. Not necessarily in a good way all the time there's alot of focus on her 2 divorces but just the same congrats on the new little girl even if it is with an ex-husband, who cares a baby is a baby. I think Clancy is a fine name by the way. Also did we ever decide in the poll about who the father is? I forget. I think the guitar player person was winning but its been a long time since I checked it. You go Dana Barron!!!

How cool is that little Audrey Griswold had a new baby. I don't know if I like the name Clancy or not but it's not of mine or anyone else's business so I think we should refrain from commenting on it. It's cute that she named her new baby after her childhood dog. Weird, but sweet.

Congrats to Dana Barron. I hope she and her new baby girl are healthy and well. Clancey is a fine name and I think it's odd but sweet that she named her baby after her dog. I was sorry to read about her being divorced this past year. Hey that's life it happens to the best of us.

I too read about Barron's recent divorce early in 2009 and was surprised to hear she had become pregnant soon afterwards. But nothing surprises me more than to hear she named the new baby "Clancy"?!! Children should not be named after people's pets, it should be the other way around in my opinion. Congrats to her just the same. She's been in the news a lot online lately and Vacation has been on TV quite alot too. I wonder if this means she'll be in the new Vacation remake and that's what all the recent press is about. Most of it isn't good press per say what with divorces and some stupid blog that had her in a bar joke series with the jfrocks guy but you have to admit what ever it was all about it worked because she's a hot topic in quite a few blogs and sites all over the place. If she is in the new Vacation remake she sure can ask for more cashola in light of it all. More power to her but like I say Clancey is a weird name I think. lol

The name is pretty lame I think. I wonder if she'll ever act again? I read on another site that she's like 200 pounds now or somthin. I had to starve myself to loose the weight after my 3rd one. Dana has 5 now but I guess maybe actresses are used to having to starve themselves. I don't know though because I have the same body type as her and for me it always wants to be fatter not leaner. Best of luck to her and the new baby and I hope she doesn't get picked on too much when she goes to school with that name and all.
