I'm mixed on this. Dana Barron did that nude scene in City of Industry and a lot of people in forums seem to think she chickened out by not doing it topless. In real life the girl would have been topless. That character was a mess. This new full nude scene is probably not that bad of an idea but I think it might be something she should have done 20 years ago and not when she's middle aged and pregnant. Not that she was pregnant when the scene was shot but still it just doesn't seem fitting to me. I guess I'm mixed on it like I said. I'll go see the movie though. Is it straight to DVD or will it be a theater I wonder? There aren't any big names in it so I would guess straight to DVD. Should be interesting. She looks ok in her recent photos maybe 10 or 15 pounds more than the old days but if it's not a raunchy scene I as a Vacation fan will feel much better about it all.

It's a bad idea. The scene from City of Industry was very distasteful and I don't think it did much for her career because she all but vanished from the scene after that as far as bigger pictures with names in them. I don't know why try it again now at 40 something. Actresses, they're a weird bunch sometimes. She seems to be stuck in Horror movie mode. Maybe instead of getting naked in a horror movie she should try doing something that's not horror or Vacation related. That might be better for her career I think.

I think it's a great idea! She should have been nude in every movie, even Vacation. For some of her movies it would have made them more bareable. Python and Christmas Vacation 2 were probably 2 of the worst films ever made. The best we got out of each of those was a one piece bathing suit that was less than flattering in each movie. She should avoid prints. She's too tiny to wear prints.

I don't even know who this girl is at all! But if she wants to get naked on film I'm all for seeing it. Although at 43 years old I wonder why would do that rather than re-invent herself who ever she is as a mom or grandma type character player.

Looks like most don't even know who Dana Barron is. It's little Audrey from Vacation for those of you who don't know. I think she's acted in some other things too but she's mostly just famous for being Audrey in 1983's Vacation with Chevy Chase. I personally don't have her on my top 10 list of women I want to see in the nude but it's interesting that she would think this type of thing is a smart move for a 40 something actress. I agree with most of the others who said that a full frontal nude scene is something she should have done 10 or 20 years ago. Not now.

Not to drop my own name but I've produced a number of series on TV mostly in an accociate production capacity but I know the business and have been in it for 2 decades now. I agree with JVValie and many of the other comment posters. Why at 45 years old, what is she thinking? I don't think she's worth noting on any website, and I've never heard her name come up at any meetings that I've attended. Not to fault Dana but Dana Barron is a minor footnote in the world that is Hollywood. Maybe she figures she needs an image change and is trying to make herself more sexy because shedding the Audrey Griswold mold has got to be a real uphill battle for her. It's a mistake I think to do too much nudity or nudity too late in one's career. She should bill herself more as the mom. She especially looks the part now. She looks a lot older in her latest photos on imdb.com. She doesn't look like Audrey Griswold anymore. I know the extra weight people are talking about is due to her being pregnant possibly but I still think that Dana Barron's days of playing 20 year olds as was said are long gone. She needs to focus more on being Brandon's mom and not Brandon's girlfriend given her current age and look. Actresses need to evolve or they end up just doing B movies or even worse. Just my opinion but it seems to be shared by many although not surprising the majority who took this poll don't have any idea who Dana Barron is. In fact her name is often spelled wrong. Even on one site where she is supposed to be a speaker for hire, her name is spelled Baron, so nobody will know to look for her even. I think her lack of popularity and viability are probably due to her lack of quality roles in recent years, and maybe a lack of a good PR person. She's never been a leading lady and probably never will be because she's just doesn't have that look. But taking it all off is very cliche for former child actors as was said in comments here and I think it's going to backfire for Dana in a major way. She'll end up with even lesser quality roles than what she's currently fielding. She should think more about TV and less about film I think. Being someone from TV I would cast her as someone's mom or older sister in a heartbeat. It's a steadier income too and more stable hours. Which is helpful for Hollywood moms or moms to be. I wish her luck, but I'm saddened by the nude direction. Very sad and not very smart I feel.

I too am in the industry FoxFactor and I agree with your opinion on this topic. It's a fools move for Dana Barron due to how the internet is these days. Even her mild partial nude scene in City of Industry has ended up in still photos and on several internet porn and celebrity nude sites. This full nude scene in the Invited if it's as revealing as I read it is could make her a bigger name in internet porn than she is for Vacation which is probably her one and only claim to fame in spite of her doing many other things. It is possible she's just trying to get attention because her other roles have been supporting and in some cases very minor but I again agree with FoxFactor in that this is not a smart move. The voters who know who Dana Barron is seem to also agree. There are smarter ways to get noticed I feel. Congratulations to her on the new baby I read about. I don't know much about her so I really didn't know she was a mother of 4. That's fantastic. All the more reason for her to keep her clothes on in the movies.

Icky if you ask me. She doesn't look as good as she used to based on her latest photos at imdb. This shot you have with this poll is an old one. She's not that young looking anymore. I'm sure they shot the scene with limited lighting so I don't know maybe she'll look ok but I agree with most it would have been better to see little Audrey nude when she still looked young. Just my opinion sorry but it's just a fact. She looks about 50 in her new photos. If that's because she's pregnant, well then I'm sorry for offering up my opinion. But I still think she should leave her clothes on and not cheapen her career what there is of it.

It's a horrible idea. Personally I like chubby girls I think they're cute so for me I'm happy to watch the scene and I was pleased to see in her maxim photos that Dana had put on some weight. She's now a cute middle aged girl with some meat on her bones. What I don't think is a good idea is her doing it to boost her career. I don't think it'll help much. In fact it may even hurt it. It'll kill that Audrey Griswold image though that you can bet on.

I for one am glad she got fully naked in The Invited or the Conjuring on some sites. Word in blogs is it's a pretty graphic scene. We only got to see her naked bottom in City of Industry. This one is the fully monty I guess. I agree with others pretty bold move. But a lot of times if an actress is willing to take it off they'll get work. She probably just needs the cash. She hasn't done anything that must have paid well in years. She likes to show off her girls in pictures like in the new Maxim photos at imdb so it's likely that's just how she's going to market herself now. It's like Audrey Griswold goes soft core. lol Hey more power to her. I hope she rakes in the dough for it. Big thumbs up from me for her bravery.

Dana Barron hasn't done a good movie since Vacation in my opinion. She does all these horrible no name movies. The city of industry thing everyone is talking about was poorly acted. The best scene in the flick is when Dana Barron gets her pants pulled down by an actor who undoubtely landed himself the luckiest role of the week that week. We didn't get to see much on film but no doubt he got himself a full view straight down center field. My point is Dana Barron is probably doing full more revealing nude scenes now because she realized that for an actress that's a good way to get noticed. If she keeps making movies like Python and Cousin Eddies Vacation she won't be able to pay the bills much longer. What I don't understand is why anyone is talking about this girl and why in every picture she puts her boobs front and center in the frame yet she never takes them out on any film until now I guess. Message to Dana Barron, they call them money makers for a reason. So kudos to Dana Barron for taking it all off for once. She's going to be stuck doing nudity forever now but she'll get paid more. They always pay extra for that.

Old Dana has 5 mouths to feed from what I've read and unless she's got a great child support deal in place that can get very expensive!!!!!! I'm mixed on this topic. I give Dana Barron props for going totally nude this time unlike in that Industry flick, I agree that was a cop out nude scene if there ever was one and wasn't even necessary to the movie. Why bother embarrassing yourself on the set for a quick flash of behind? It doesn't make sense unless she needed the cash I think. It almost looked like they added her nude butt scene as an afterthought and she agreed to it for what ever reason. I didn't see Invited yet but someone in a forum said that Dana Barron could have at least gotten in shape before taking it all off or "Barron it all" as is the saying in one movie forum was. I heard the movie isn't that great but that's to be expected with B flicks I guess I don't know. No pun intended but I hope it wasn't in vein and Dana gets some exposure for her efforts. I congratulate her on her new baby too. Number 5 isn't it? WOW! Good for her.

This story is false and should be disregarded. Dana Barron did not do a nude scene in The Invited. If this fact makes people not want to see the movie now that's fine but we cannot have false information like this floating around the internet. Dana Barron can act just fine with her clothes on.
