Dana Barron poll - Who's the Dad of Dana Barron's 5th child due in November?

I love that Chevy Chase is one of the options. I can't believe 3 people so far chose chevy as the guy who knocked up Dana Barron. lol lol So much for a serious poll right Kat? I voted for Jeff just because based on the blogs and some news stuff he's the most likely choice. Dana doesn't seem the random guy in the bar choice but then again you never know with Hollywood.

Oh man this is unreal, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. This poll is linked in no less than 4 major guitar forums online right this moment and the sad part is a lot of them believe that Jeff Fiorentino is the dad of Dana's kids. I've known Jeff since 86 so I know it's probably not true that he is, and I also know that Jeff and Dana are MIA in all this probably playing the watch and see game in their separate camps. That's a bad move if you ask me, the guitar community is Jeff's domain, he's done well for himself online and is I think these days a bigger guitar icon to these kids thanks to his website than the 20+ years of sessions work in the industry he did prior to the jfrocks website. All I'm saying is, I've been in this music game since the 80's and I'll tell you what, a well placed comment from him could really put out a big fire that's brewing right now, the guitar community in forums is going to turn on Dana Barron pretty soon and give you gossip hounds a real show if someone doesn't speak up. It's not like the jfrocks.com camp doesn't know about this gossip. I just wonder why the silence. Silence means truth in gossip land as you all know. I emailed them my thoughts, but I thought I would also share them here for gossip hounds that are reading the stuff. For me this is just a bizarre thing and I feel for both Dana Barron and Jeff Fiorentino and heck even Tom Schmeck who ever that is. I think the perpetrator here probably was going for Tom Schmeckle not Schmeck. Keep your heads up Jeff and Dana and you to Chevy. All that said I voted for none of the above as the father of Dana's baby.

I agree with Mark Slaughter and might I say I'm a big fan. There's No Doubt that Dana Barron is pregnant but I think people just like to know things. If they didn't gossip sites like this one wouldn't be so popular. I voted for Jeff Fiorentino the guitarist. I don't like to picture Dana going to bars picking up random men. Ewww. It's nice to see that Tom Schmeck got a vote though.

I assume you specified "guitarist" with Jeff Fiorentino's name so as to not confuse him with the ball player with the same name. I notice Jeff does that in his press for his jfrocks.com website I imagine that's a real hassle for him. It's not a Common name. I voted for Jeff Fiorentino. I agree with who ever said they don't like to picture Audrey Griswold picking up random guys in bars and getting knocked up by them. Jeff seems like a straight up guy, I joined his Facebook to see if I could get any confirmation from him on these rumors floating around in various blogs and gossip sites and such. I haven't been confirmed yet, it's possible my Hollywood Reporter email address is bothering him. I should have thought of that I suppose. On another note I wonder if Dana Barron will be in the new Vacation sequel coming out. Her being a new mom might fit right in with the theme.

As a long time fan of Jeff Fiorentino's guitar work and career this gossip post really gets my blood boiling. I'm tempted to step in but I know Jeff has asked his following to remain quiet on the topic. Still I feel the need to at least say that I'm surprised so many people would think Dana Barron is picking up random men in a bar. There's quite a tangled web of Dana Barron out there on the net these days everyone is waiting for the big birth in November. Logic says the father is Jeff Fiorentino based on links and wiki pages. Fact says it's probably none of the above but if it's not Jeff he should probably say so at some point sooner rather than later because the guitar boards all think it's him. It's too simple of an explanation in my book though. Doubt it's the random drunk person from a bar. lol Funny addition to the poll though. and a popular one too. I'm going with none of the above.

No way Peepingpete (cool screen name by the way) I read that Jeff Fiorentino confirmed the story even saying he planned to give child support. I may have read it wrong but some blog said that he said it was true. It could be a he said she said thing but I and many others are under the assumption that the story is true. It's probably easy enough to confirm that fact but I'm pretty sure I read it right. Assuming you believe blogs. In my experience they are usually pretty reliable. My two cents.

Just to clarify if I may because I too read the release and blog post you're referencing. Jeff Fiorentino has only "allegedly" confirmed the reports that he is the father. I've been with the press for nearly 20 years and I promise you the word allegedly never appears in a factual statement. I have tried to contact Jeff Fiorentino through his staff assistant to no avail. I strongly urge all of you who are speculating that until you hear it from the horses mouth so to speak you must discount what you read on the internet by at least 80%. If I manage to get a comment from either Jeff Fiorentino or Dana Barron, of which both I will be trying to reach today, I will report on "facts" and let everyone know them.

Good luck Hollywood Reports guy. I joined Jeff Fiorentino's facebook because of this topic and when I asked him a question about it on his wall the question was promptly deleted. I think getting a comment out of them or him is going to be like pulling teeth. You'll probably have better luck contacting Dana Barron directly with your press creds. Who also by the way has a Facebook page but she's never approved me as a friend. humph! Well I never to both of them. Couple of snobs if you ask me, they deserve the unplanned pregnancy. Personally I'll take Jeff Fiorentino's deleting my question and Dana not approving me as a friend as a sign that it's true and I'll go with the alleged reports thank you very much. I do wish her well though. It's probably going to be some hefty child support.

You won't get any response back from Jeff Fiorentino even if you are really the press. I've been going to his site for years and years and I can tell you one thing about Jeff, he hates the press!! You're better off telling him you're a fan if you want answers. That puts him in a tight spot and he'll feel the need to not be rude to you. Not that I'm suggesting tricking the guy but it'll give you a snowballs chance of finding out something or at least getting a yay or nay on it. My guess is it's a nay and this is all part of a problem he's been having with a few people online over the past year. Dana has been having the same problem and the talk on most of the guitar boards doesn't favor her much because she doesn't seem to be much help in resolving it all. But if she's pregnant I guess she has bigger fish to fry in a manor of speaking. Good luck to you with getting some answers.

According to a few guitar boards the answer is Jeff Fiorentino but some of those people are basing that on an "alleged" press release which I'm smart enough to observe didn't come from the usual Jfrocks press release source. I smell something here that smells a little like press for the new Vacation movie that's being reported all over the place. Not saying Dana is doing it because I know she isn't, her and Jeff have been getting screwed by a certain blogger for more than a year now. I do think it's time because of the press release (probably a fake) that someone denies this or officially confirms it. Most people know Jeff for his Van Halen work so he's pretty popular online with guitarists and I think that popularity is going to bite him hard in the speculation department. I think Dana Barron probably is pregnant that story seems to have originated from a reliable source I just wonder why Jeff hasn't stepped in to officially deny it. He's gotta know about all this he has a staff of web people that police the net to protect his copyrights. I wish the reporter guy luck but don't hold your breath. My thinking is neither Dana or Jeff or Tom who ever that is wants to touch this topic with a 10 foot pole. If I know Jeff he's at the beach writing songs while we're all speculating and well Dana Barron is probably out baby shopping with the real dad of this baby. lol

I think it's so cool that Dana Barron is preggers. There's a press release on Google that says her weight is like 200 pounds now. I gained a lot too with my 3rd child. I'm about Dana's height I think and I was 175 pounds most of it water. I bet she can't wait until November. Bless her little self. xoxo

Jeff Fiorentino did not confirm he's the father of Dana Barron's baby. There is no mention of it or confirmation from him on his jfrocks.com website or anywhere online. I've been trying to reach both parties for a comment but I haven't had much luck. Don't believe random blogs that don't link back to credible sources. I said I would post when I found out something concrete but as of yet I have not. The guitarist is still probably your best bet vote from the list you have but it's still only speculation and with the alleged baby due in a couple weeks someone should stake claim to it soon. Just wish Dana Barron well and hope that the baby is born healthy for now.

I've been researching this Dana Barron pregnant story and who the father is and from what I've read there has been no word one way or the other from anyone on this poll list. Someone said in comments that Jeff Fiorentino confirmed this and was going to pay child support. I think that person made that up because I can tell you I'm an expert with searches and there is no record of Jeff even so much saying anything about this situation anywhere online and I even searched forums and blogs and his own private forum on his website. In an effort to help since this is a popular topic I tried to sign up for Dana Barron's facebook but never got confirmed. I got confirmed for Jeff Fiorentino's facebook but when I asked if he was the father he dodged the question and let it fade away in the news feeds with no answer. That being the case I think this is probably a private matter between Dana Barron and whom ever and an answer may never be revealed. So for those interested in this topic I would keep in mind that your answer is a guess at its best. The only ones who know the answer for sure i.e. the people on this poll list or Dana Barron are as a quiet as a mouse and I'm guessing by Jeff's ignorance of my question they are a little annoyed by it all too. Oh well, it's still a neat story. And I wish Dana well with her soon to come delivery. But I guess with this one being her 5th she's been through labor before and probably knows the drill pretty good.

I agree with Presser. What is this Jenny person talking about and who is the Hollywood Reports person? I live on the internet and in music forums. And I'm also a friend on Jeff's facebook. The rumors that he has confirmed this pregnancy or that he's the father are bogus. They are the result of a blogger making up press. Never once has he said one word about this any more than Dana Barron has. Stop adding to the rumors of false confirmations by believing random bloggers with an axe to grind. Dana Barron is probably pregnant but I'm not going to sit here and read that Jeff confirmed anything because I know he hasn't and has even asked his following to never comment on this topic. Of course I'm breaking that rule but I think in this case it's warranted. Let Dana Barron have her baby in peace. Child birth is tough enough without all of this speculation in polls and in some cases rude comments. What's up with that?!

This is getting stupid now. Some friend of Dana Barron's posted a rude message based on misunderstanding in the Jeff Fiorentino's private guitar forum today. Some of you folks make me sick to my stomach. As a big fan of Jeff Fiorentino and his guitar website for years I will tell you straight up that he should not be even in this poll. Not only was he not ever married to Dana Barron they are in no way having any child together. Jeff asked his fans to stay out of it but I'm sorry I CANNOT and WILL NOT allow this type of behavior to continue any longer. I am a fed up jfrocks fan!! I don't know much about Dana Barron but I do know that she has a sympathies of every single jfrocks and Jeff Fiorentino fan on this planet and that's a powerful backing on the internet. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ IN THESE POLLS PEOPLE. And please stop voting!! And Dana Barron's friend needs to get her facts straight before insulting the mentor and teacher to about 50,000 guitarists in cyberspace. We forgive because we understand her anger, but in the future I would advise her to control herself. That post made a lot of people very angry this morning.

I think the lack of comment says it all. To address Rachel from her previous comment about not knowing who these people are. Dana Barron played Audrey in Vacation. The 1st one from 1983. She also went on to win an emmy for her role in No means no directed by Martin Sheen. She also had a small role on 90210 as Brandon's 1st on screen girlfriend Nikki Witt, pardon the spelling. Dana doesn't have a lot of fame mostly because she's usually done supporting roles but she's a fine actress. Tom Schmeck I have no idea who that is I guess he's some doctor that Dana Barron was married to at one time. Jeff Fiorentino is a guitarist mostly radio stuff according to my research at BMI but he also did a lot of the music on the Blind Date TV show at least early on, he also runs a website called jfrocks that does lessons and music. He's best known for doing a lot of instructional videos on Eddie Van Halen's guitar style. To be honest he's really good but he's been in the industry a long time so that should say it all. I don't believe Dana Barron is pregnant, and I don't believe that any of these people are the father if she is. I think this is all a game being played by a blogger named Samantha. I know there is more to the story than that but as has been stated neither Dana Barron nor Jeff Fiorentino are offering any comments. Jeff's website fans as you can read from a certain comment here have a lot to say about the topic. My advice is don't believe everything you read as far as gossip goes. Gossip is gossip. Like I said the lack of official comment says it all here.

Well I read that Dana Barron and Jeff Fiorentino the guitar player dude were divorced and already had 3 children. So it doesn't make sense they would have another one after the divorce. I also read Dana was divorced previously from this Tom Schmeck guy who I guess is a doctor and they have 1 child. That accounts for her 4 other kids but again it doesn't seem logical that she's going back to ex husbands to have more kids. I don't think it's the random guy in a bar or at least I hope not. That's the luckiest day in that guy's life to pick up Dana Barron in a bar. I know I don't get that lucky in my home town. lol Who ever the father is I wish her luck with her new baby. David that's not true. Dana Barron and Jeff Fiorentino the guitar player are not divorced. Jeff was asked about it recently on his facebook page and said flat out no it's not true. He even hinted at the fact that he doesn't believe Dana Barron is even pregnant. According to some of his other friends and fans on the page some blogger has made the two of them their personal mission for about a year now I guess. According to one person Jeff slapped the blogger with a liable suit or some sort of cease and decist letter from his lawyer and most of it seems to have stopped. I like what Jeff said he said when being nice fails a fist and a baseball bat will usually at least show someone you're not playing games. lol He's a funny guy I joined his page because of this story and I can tell you that he flat out denies even knowing Dana Barron let alone being divorced from her.
