Rob is not gay. My own brothers were late bloomers MAINLY due to shyness. Rob is shy and sweet NOT gay. The reports by the director of his "reaction" to the erotic scenes (deleted from final cut but on You Tube) indicate that he is a healthy red-blooded guy. He really likes women and had a girlfriend from 17 -21 who was a few years older. She met another guy and they parted on good terms. If you went to a boys prep school and were raised the way he was...you would be a little unmacho too around girls.

Is being unmacho meant to be a bad thing? I actually find it very endearing when a guy doesn't base his whole personality on his gender and trying to project some sort of virility. I actually find stereotypical masculinity quite off-putting.
