Ed McMahon Has Passed Away

TV personality Ed McMahon has died at the age of 86 after losing his battle with cancer.

McMahon, who was Johnny Carson sidekick on NBC's Tonight Show from 1962 to 1992, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009, at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his wife Pam Hurn and five children.
