Emma Stone Offered Lead in 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'

There are few books that are as timeless as Jane Austen's 1813 novel, Pride and Prejudice as the main character Elizabeth Bennet deals with manners, education, marriage in 19th-century England, independence, individuality and on and on, but let's be real. She didn't have to deal with zombies. Seth Grahame-Smith upped the ante in his 2009 parody novel, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, where his version of Elizabeth Bennet must deal all of the above AND a deadly virus that turns the dead into zombies, and it became a New York Times bestseller.
