FIRE IN THE SKY OVER VANCOUVER

For three evenings last week three countries United States, China and Canada competed in separate awesome displays of fireworks
Vancouver's beaches were packed with crowds well over 200,00 0 each evening. Behavior was reported as being much better than previous years by VPD., who made themselves visible at points into Vancouver's westend were closed to traffic.
Canada again took the victory for a second year in a row, followed by China in second place.
The event 's finale was Saturday evening with the three countries each putting on a fabulous 20 minutes presentation each. The event was again attended by well over 400,000.
