'Game of Thrones' director Alan Taylor to helm 'Thor 2

Deadline are reporting that Alan Taylor whose credits include Game Of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie, has been signed up by Marvel to replace Patty Jenkins (Monster) as director of their forthcoming sequel Thor 2. Jenkins left the project earlier this month, citing "creative differences" as the reason for her departure.
