According to the latest census, gay adoptions in the U.S. are increasing, despite all the legal issues that gay couples must contend with in at least half of the states in the country.
Here's what executive director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute Adam Pertman had to say about the trend:
"The trend line is absolutely straight up. It's now a reality on the ground."
