In a letter denying an interview to Croatian magazine Arena, actor Goran Visnjic stated that while he "has absolutely nothing personal against [Arena]" he will not give them an interview, as they have been known to provide a platform for Rupic, who has repeatedly used it to insult and attack Visnjic and his wife Ivana.
Said Visnjic, preceeding his rejection of their requests: "You published that I was not paying child support and that my wife wanted to kill her unborn child. By doing so, your paper showed that it took the side of a pathological liar, whose lies it served to the Croatian people as facts."
Meanwhile Rupic, in an interview with Ivana Nanut for Nova TV's Red Carpet (the same outlet Goran declined to speak to at the sundance premiere of his new film, Helen), proceeded to offer more supposed details of her 2006 one-night stand with Visnjic, stating that she did not consider the feelings of Visnjic's wife and admits that she wanted a baby with him from the start. Rupic also claims that neither she nor Visnjic insisted on using a condom.
