As fall's high-profile movies ramp up for release, film lovers are finding themselves in the midst of a revamped Academy Awards race for Best Picture, thanks to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' decision last June to increase the number of Best Picture nominees from five movies to 10.
