I honestly wasn't expecting much of this movie. I personally am rather sick of the slapstick comedy that has engulfed the entertainment industry in recent years (i.e., Superbad, American Wedding, etc). It was all funny for a while but not it seems that it has gone too far. It seems like the industry is run on the dollar as opposed to the artist: rolling out the same ol', same ol' films that seem to be generating revenue. Who am I to say that those films aren't art though, they are. However, I think our comedies should be sproused up a bit. What happened to the Philadelphia storie...
