'Guiding Light' Star Set to Return on 'Days of our Lives'

If there's no future for Guiding Light, fans can still catch Emmy winner Crystal Chappell as she finds another home on NBC. TV Guide Magazine reports that the 43-year-old actress has signed on to rejoin the cast of Days of our Lives to reprise her role as Dr. Carly Manning Alamain.

Dr. Carly Manning Alamain, who appeared on the show from June 1990 to October 1993, was considered front-burner for most of Chappell's time on Days of our Lives.
