The actress has angered PETA by appearing in the campaign for Tod's latest collection wearing fur lined boots and promoting animal skin bags, despite being a vegetarian.
The ad for the label's autumn/winter 2008 collection also features fox skin as well as ostrich and alligator skin bags.
PETA have criticised Gwyneth for setting a terrible example by taking money for the advert: 'Gwyneth Paltrow won't be the apple of her daughter's eye if she continues to flaunt fur,' said a PETA spokesperson.
'Gwyneth Paltrow should be ashamed. I can only assume that Paltrow either is ignorant of the facts or lacks human decency and compassion,' added Mark Glover, director of Respect for Animals
