Heather Locklear has been hospitalised

Heather Locklear has been hospitalised with a bacterial infection.

According to Gossip Cop, the star's rep has confirmed that Locklear is being treated at a Southern California hospital.

She is taking antibiotics and is expected to be released from the hospital later today.

Locklear, known for her roles in Melrose Place and Spin City, recently returned to California from Canada where she was shooting the upcoming movie He Loves Me.
