Authorities say Heather Locklear was taken to a Southern California hospital for precautionary reasons after receiving an emergency call from her home.
Paramedics and sheriff's deputies responded Thursday afternoon (January 12) to Heather's home in Westlake Village, which is 35 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
TMZ reports the star was taken to the hospital after taking a dangerous mix of drugs and alcohol.
