Heather Locklear is up for a role on a new revival of the primetime soap that made her a television staple through much of the '90s.

The fortysomething actress has been approached about reprising her role as cutthroat advertising exec "Amanda Woodward" on The CW's upcoming remake of the FOX drama Melrose Place.
