Helena Bonham Carter steps out in VERY odd-looking shoes

Has Helena Bonham Carter accidentally trod on something? Or is the eccentric actress making some kind of fashion statement with these bizarre-looking circular heels?
The 42-year-old has always been renowned for her quirky dress sense.
But in these odd-looking clogs she could be mistaken for having walked straight off the Harry Potter film set where she plays evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange.
Bonham Carter was pictured in the shoes during a shopping trip in London's trendy Notting Hill on Monday, just days ahead of the famous Notting Hill Carnival which is set to take place this weekend.
The Sweeney Todd star's eccentric ensemble also included stripey black and white tights, pink skirt, black coat complete with green-rimmed sun glasses and a pearl neckless.
In the past Bonham Carter has been vocal about her dress sense, saying she finds the frequent criticism 'hilarious' and has no intention of changing for anyone.
In December last year she gave birth to daughter Nell - the second child she has had with long-term partner film director Tim Burton - following the birth of their first child Billy Ray in 2003.
