Helmer in 'Debt' to his stars

Film News: Nearly two years late, John Madden's thriller "The Debt" finally arrived for its hometown premiere Sept. 21 at the Curzon theater in Mayfair. It was shot in 2009 for Miramax, and as producer Kris Thykier said, "It was made for one studio, moved to another studio who sold us out, then for a while owned by a hedge fund." Universal releases in the U.K.
