Topics and Frequently Asked Questions below that will assist with mostly everything you're looking for. Simply click on the topics below to expand
each section you'd like to review:

General Stuff
- What is iGossip?
iGossip is the place where fans converse about celebrity news and gossip, read and write articles, and watch videos
- Who uses iGossip?
Anyone interested in celebrity news and entertainment and wants to meet likeminded people.
- How can I contact iGossip?
You can contact us anytime at feedback@igossip.com
- Are there rules and guidelines to be aware of?
Yes. In general, the iGossip community determines what is and isn't appropriate when it comes to articles, comments, videos and photos.
Personal attacks, inappropriate or offensive language and content may be flagged by the community and subsequently removed. In addition,
there are basic Community Guidelines to be aware of which we ask everyone to respect so we may keep iGossip a fun place to converse
and hang out.

Posting Articles, Photos and Videos
- What kind of content can I post?
You can also post articles, photos and videos from around the web (we hope you have the rights to). We encourage you to post "original"
articles on iGossip, where you share personal celebrity experiences or one-of-a-kind celebrity news.
- How do I post a blog, story or gossip?
First you will want to register and Sign in (however it is not
mandatory). Start with the "Post Gossip" button at the very top navigation bar. First you will write your post and then you will
categorize it. Then you will add a photo or video (optional). If you're linking to an article found elsewhere on the web, do not cut-and-paste
the article in its entirety. Instead, include an excerpt, recap in your own words and point of view. If you're writing an original article
for iGossip, then you do not need to include a link to another website.
- Can I post content anonymously?
Yes. You can post articles and posts, as well as comments on other user content, anonymously as long as you
check the box that says "I agree to the submission agreement."
- Can I post content from my own blog?
Yes. We encourage you to submit work form your blog and promote it on iGossip. You can also submit work from other people's blogs,
mainstream entertainment sites, and any other sites that include celebrity content, including videos, photos and more.
- What are tags and why should I use them?
"Tags" are also known as "Categories" on the site. Tags indicate what the content is about (for example, if the post is about Movies,
Music, Rumors, etc). You should select tags when you post articles, photos and videos because they make it easier for readers (and Search
Engines) to find your content.
- I can't find the right tag to use. What should I do?
If we are missing a tag that you think we should have sent us an email at feedback@igossip.com
- How do I post a photo?
There are two ways to post photos. When you are writing your story go to the "Photos" section and you will see two options:
1) From My Computer - click the "From My Computer" button. Then hit the "Browse" button to search for the photo on your computer, find
it in your files, and click "Open" on the popup window. Then make sure its file location is added in the box provided and hit the
"Upload" button.
2) From The Internet β click the "From The Internet" button and paste the URL. In order to find a photo URL, simply put your cursor
over the image you wish to upload, RIGHT click the mouse button, and from the drop-down menu chose "copy image location". Then past the
URL into the box.
- How do I post a video?
Similar to how you'd post an image from the Internet. However, you can only post YouTube videos at this point and time. Simply provide the
link to YouTube and enter it in the "From The Internet" area.
- Can I upload videos directly from my computer?
No, you have to upload them to YouTube (youtube.com) then copy the YouTube URL over here when you
post a gossip.
- Can I post a video from Youtube and Google video?
No, only YouTube videos are allowed
- Can I share my articles, photos and videos with people online and across the Internet?
Absolutely, in fact, we encourage you to do so as it will provide more exposure to your content. We've dedicated a whole section to this
(below) called "Sending & Sharing Content Online" and we encourage you to review it closely.
- Why can't I post 2 gossips in the same minute?
We noticed when people post more than one article in a 2 minute span they are more apt to making mistakes. Rather than going too fast, use
the time to make your articles interesting and spell check your work thereby making it more appealing to the iGossip community.
- Can I delete my articles and content I post?
No, but you can ask a moderator to assist you by sending an email to support@igossip.com.
- I posted as "Anonymous" can I change it to show that I posted it?
No, there is no way to prove who posted an anonymous gossip.
- Why are my pictures blurry (or "pixelated")?
If your pictures on your articles or posts are blurry it is likely because they are stretched out ("pixelated"). To avoid this you can do
one of two things:
1) If you're uploading from your computer, typically, a big picture will not be affected as much or become pixelated.
2) Another way to avoid a pixilated picture is to take a picture from a source on the Internet rather than copying to your desktop.
In order to do this look review the "How do I post a photo to article?" question above.

Rating & Scoring
- Why should I give a gossip a "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down"?
Rating articles and posts is an easy way to help iGossip determine which users are contributing the best material and which content
surfaces to the top. The more content that is rated, the more efficient the iGossip database can be at displaying and organizing the
best content for the iGossip community to see.

- Is it O.K. to take pictures from the Internet or other sites?
Generally, the answer is no. You should not take pictures from other people or sources without

Users rate the articles and posts submitted to iGossip by providing a "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down" vote. If a post obtains a certain level

If a post obtains a certain level of "Thumbs Down" it will be downgraded. Typically, a -1 vote will kick off a "Dirt Gossip" indicating users
