Quentin Tarantino's uberviolent WWII project Inglorious Bastards has finally found its star -- and its home. Reps for Brad Pitt confirm that the prolific father is in negotiations to play Lieut. Aldo Raine. (A source says rumors that Tarantino is also courting Leonardo DiCaprio for the role of Col. Hans Landa are false.) Brad Pitt can officially add 'Photographer' to his already impressive resume. Brad just shot an exclusive pictorial for W magazine that features
Angelina Jolie and their bunch. Fashion Week Daily reports that Brad staged the photos at Chateau Miraval in the South of France last week for the November cover of W. This will be the second W cover featuring Brad and Angelina. The first cover, shot in 2005, featured Brad and Angelina in "domestic bliss." Who knew that three years (and six kids) later they would reappear as a big old happy family. Foreshadowing? Maybe. Genius? Absolutely

Brad Pitt and his adopted sons Maddox and Pax were pursued by the paparazzi in a James Bond-style boat chase through the waterways of Venice, Italy on Tuesday. The actor arrived in the city for the Venice Film Festival, which kicks off on Wednesday-- and he was met by a swarm of photographers, prepared to chase him on land and water to get the shot they craved. Pitt, clutching Maddox and Pax's hands, was lead onto a motorboat, which jetted off towards the city, as snappers on boats followed in hot pursuit. Pitt, who has been in Europe all summer preparing for the birth of his twins with Angelina Jolie, is scheduled to make two appearances at the festival-- a fund-raising dinner for his Not On Our Watch charity on Tuesday night and the premiere of his new movie Burn After Reading on Wednesday. He'll team up with celebrity pal and Ocean's Thirteen co-star George Clooney at both events.
