James Marsden Is in Maui

I never understood why James Marsden isn't more popular or at least as popular as Chris Pine aka the guy who kind of looks like James Marsden. He seems like just a good an actor if not slightly better. The only thing I can think of is Chris Pine went from star trek to co-starring with Denzel Washington, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon while James went from X2 to co-starring with a bunny who poops chocolate eggs.
