After Jamie Lynn Spears' baby is born, mother Lynne Spears will be looking after it. Jamie Lynn has decided to give up her baby to her mother so she can continue with her movie career. Having a baby is life changing and consequences are life long. Having to look after the child would definitely cost Jamie Lynn her career. Giving the baby up to mother Lynn will allow her to continue with acting and enjoy her teenage years without responsibilities that caring for new borns require.
I can't help but see mother Lynne's interest in her daughter making it. She's enjoyed success of Britney Spears profusely and would like to do the same with her younger daughter. If Jamie Lynn turned into a mother and ended her acting career, Lynne would be devastated. Hence her intervention. She's gonna look after the baby for as long as Jamie Lynn is doing well with Nickelodeon. That's just how Lynne Spears is.
Lynne Spears is planning to raise the child back in Kentwood, Louisiana where the Spears' own a $3 million estate.
