Here's something to cheer about, 'Glee' fans: Jane Lynch, who plays baddie Sue Sylvester on the smash Fox series, will host the Oct. 9 broadcast of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live,' Movieline reports.

Lynch's Sylvester is the diabolical cheerleading coach whose greatest joy in life is foiling the fun of the Glee club kids. She's up for the Supporting Actress in a Comedy award at the Aug. 29 Emmys for her role.
