Providing you the full scoop...
Rapper Jay-Z may soon be shelling out the good ol' American Benjamins for forcing workers at his trendy 40/40 Club to pick up the tab for deadbeat customers. A Manhattan Federal Judge has said current and past servers, bartenders and others who have worked the bar could be eligible for a payout from a suit certified as class action Tuesday. The suit has approximately 20 workers accusing club managers of making them work for tips only and cheating them out of overtime pay.
The 40/40 Club is a chain by Jay-Z and partners Desiree Gonzalez and Juan Perez. The name comes from the baseball term used to denote the exclusive group of Major League Baseball players who have achieved 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season.
For those who've not seen or heard of the club, it's quite the Posh place. There's a line down the block that forms every weekend. Inside, the dcor flaunts sofas built into the steps is very flamboyant where the uber-elite can drop their cash on a second-level VIP room that has plush couches and more private sports viewing amenities.

I have yet to go to that club; I was going to hit it up when I went to Vegas.
