Jennifer Aniston graces the May, 2010 cover of Harper's Bazaar U.K. in what I think is a gorgeous cover. The tag line underneath her name says 'It's Time For My Rebirth' and inside the cover she talks about Botox and how she's up for it:
"I could do it. These lines are getting deeper every day.
"These lines are just about living. Look, I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to. I don't starve myself in an extremist way. You're not taking away my coffee or my dairy or my glass of wine because I'd be devastated.
"The last five years have been about spring cleaning for me. Now it's time for my rebirth. I love trying new things. I just can't be put in a box."
Sometimes I think women can't win when it comes to the aging process particularly in Hollywood. If they don't do Botox or plastic surgery they are put down for looking old. If they do get it they are put down for being expressionless.
So what exactly are women supposed to do? Go hide our hideous faces so as not to upset people? Kiss me arse I say. Unless the people putting women down for their looks are perfect and beautiful (and trust me they NEVER are) really who makes you judge and jury? Rant over. Maybe not. I'm sure I'll rant about this at some point in the future. You're welcome :)
