Jerry Springer Leaving "America's Got Talent

Jerry Springer will not return as the host of NBC's America's Got Talent, the 64-year-old TV personality said in a statement released on Thursday.

According to The Associated Press, Jerry is leaving the annaul talent competition to focus on other projects, including a stage role and his long running syndicated talk show.

The TV personality described his time on the popular show as "an amazing ride."
