Jodie Foster Stands By Mel Gibson

Jodie Foster is not leaving Mel Gibson behind when the actor is facing what may be the most difficult period of his life. Foster, who became friends with Gibson when they made "Maverick" in 1994, said her friend is "struggling" in his high-profile custody battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, who has also lodged a domestic violence complaint against the Oscar-winning actor.
