Meet Joe The Plumber. Joe Wurzelbacher is an overnight celebrity known today as Joe The Plumber. Joe is, a Toledo, Ohio plumber who showed up at an Obama rally to challenge his tax policies. He spoke directly with Obama explaining that he wants to buy his business but would face higher taxes under the Obama's plan $250,000 threshold. Joe became an overnight national celebrity after Presidential Candidates mentioned his name over 20 times during the debate.
Who Will Joe Endorse? Joe The Plumber isn't talking about who he will vote for. "It's a personal decision, and myself and the button I push will know the answer," the 34-year-old plumber and single father said on ABC's "Good Morning America" program. Outside his home he told a crowd of reporters "I want the American people to vote for who they want to vote for," and in an informed way. Joe also said he was proud of what the U.S. military has accomplished in Iraq, feels his views are shared by many middle class working people.
Joe's Dreams. Joe voted in the Republican primary and indicated he backed McCain. He's currently considering buying a plumbing business but would be hurt by Democrat Barack Obama's tax plans. In the meantime, Joe's getting a lot of press attention and joked, "I'm kind of like Britney Spears having a headache. Everybody wants to know about it," he joked. Is this Joe Wurzelbacher's 15 minutes of fame or are we likely to hear from him in the future?? This blogger believs and hopes we will hear from him in the future.
