John Lennon's Biopic!

A new biopic exploring John Lennon's early years, which shaped him into the man and icon he'd become, is in the works, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The film's script zeroes in on The Rock legend's childhood and adolescence, when he fatefully met his songwriting soulmate and Beatles comrade Paul McCartney.
Filming will take place on location in Lennon's hometown of Liverpool, England, says the Reporter, and the project's backers say that casting "is under way."
