I'm thoroughly inspired after attending Kanye West's Glow In The Dark Tour for the 2nd time. Took place on June 7th at the STAPLES Center. Man o' Man, does that guy know how to put on a show!?! I had a great time the first time. But this time Kanye said some radical stuff which I LOVED cuz I feel the same way. He startede off by saying that the media sets up a certain image of people, and for him -- whenever people meet him they say "Wow! You're actually a nice guy!" He said that the media knocks you down for having high self esteem, but when you have low self esteem they don't say anything, as if that's a good thing! He said that we hold these idols of ours so high and think that they can't be surpassed. What's wrong with dreaming big and rising above these people. Kanye exclaimed that he's on his way to becoming better than John Lennon, U2, and Madonna. "I'M COMING FOR THEY SPOT!" he yelled in enthusiasm.
I completed agree! He's gonna do it, too watch. As for me, I'm coming for Sammy Davis Jr., Laurence Olivier, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Tom Cruise...all YALL! I'm coming for that #1 spot.
Thanks,
DR
