Actor Karl Malden has died of natural causes at the age of 97.
Malden was best known for the television series "The Streets of San Francisco" in the 1970s and was the American Express Traveler's Check spokesperson. He also served as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences president from 1989-92.
Malden's daughter, Mila, has confirmed the news.
