Kathy Hilton is urging Paris Hilton to stay away from dating, insisting her heiress spawn needs "time" to heal following her split from Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

Benji and Paris called it quits last November after nine months of dating.

Paris is now rumoured to be "making a little time" for The Hills' Doug Reinhardt, who previously dated actress Amanda Bynes.
