Katie Couric to Announce Evening News Exit This Week

Katie Couric is expected to announce her exit from CBS Evening News this week, ending months of speculation, The New York Times reports.

cbs will announce her successor, who is expected to be 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley, next week after Couric returns from London, where she will anchor the royal wedding this Friday, the Times says.
