Laverne & Shirley's Eddie Mekka arrested for DUI

He may be best known for his role in a hit comedy series, but Eddie Mekka's recent car crash and subsequent DUI is anything but funny. The actor, who played Carmine "The Big Ragoo Ragusa on 1970s favorite Laverne &
Shirley, was arrested in the aftermath of an automobile accident on July 3
in Las Vegas. He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Luckily, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
