Legendary Pictures helps finance Gears of War!

So as you may have heard one of the biggest video games Gears of War was rumored to be making a Big Screen debut.Legendary pictures has now jumped on board to help finance the movie..Many Fans are highly anticpating this movie,not since Halo has a game made so much buzz...
Gears of War has been set up at New Line since early last year with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey producing through their Temple Hill. 'Gears' lead designer Cliff Bleszinski is executive producing and consulting for developer Epic, which owns the rights.
Len Wiseman is directing with Chris Morgan writing the script. The first draft was written by Stuart Beattie.
"Gears" centers on a world beset by aliens known as the Locust and a team of soldiers fighting to retake the planet.
