Lily Allen: Hospitalized with Blood Condition

Lily Allen really can't catch a break.

Just days after suffering her second miscarriage, the singer was rushed to the hospital on Friday for a blood condition called septicemia. With symptoms that include a fever, chills and rapid breathing, this ailment involves bacteria in the blood that can cause severe infections.

Says a rep for the artist:

"She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone ..."
