Luke Evans Joins The Hobbit

Luke Evans has joined the cast of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit , Deadline reports. Evan's role will be that of Bard the Bowman, who plays a major role in the latter part of the novel. As such, the story, which is being divided into two halves subtitled An Unexpected Journey and There and Back Again , may only feature Bard in the second film, depending on how closely the adaptation mirrors the book.
