Matt Lauer cheats on wife

The National Enquirer reported today that Matt Lauer of The Today Show has separated from his wife, allegedly due to marital infidelity issues. Viers of the Today Show have been talking for a long time about the obvious romance between Matt Lauer and his co-host Meredith Vieira.
They have not been kidding anyone, and apparently it has come home to roost. On the air, it has been abundantly obvious that the two have feelings for each other. In one instance, while Matt was in Los Angeles and Meredith was in the studio, as he signed off, she said "I looooooove you," then caught herself and changed it to "WE love you." More recently, Meredith let it slip that she had made Matt breakfast. A great number of little on-air slips have let the world know what was going on, it's too bad for his wife, but hopefully she has another love interest of her own!
